I HATE HOMEWORK !

called Raudah to ask her which is the reading we needed to do for christianity in world history. she was like.. go to library e reserves on ivle and i think its on the 3rd page of the list of readings.. i was like .. WHAT !!! you mean there is a page 3 !!! all this while i thought the 18+ readings listed on page 1 were all the readings for the course... now to my horror, there are 55 !!! sianz.. the week just got worst.. this with the stupid cold war mcq test where the guy throws a bunch of foreign names and asks who was the czechoslovakian president in 1947, together with preparing to act the role of a disturbed young man who cuts himself for acting for the screen as well as the uber boring stage and screen seminar this week on untold scandal, I AM SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS WEEK !!! MID TERM BREAK PLS COME SOON !!!!

whats up !

Ok so christianity in world history lectures have go to be the most draining lectures ever.. OMG its information overload.. ok so the lecturer is interesting and engaging.. but everything he says seems important and he throws alot alot of facts at us.. and my hands ache from the frantic writing.. think its time to bring my laptop to school.. then can also play solitaire during the uber boring stage and screen seminars.. next week is untold scandal.. i think nadia is sick of dangerous liasons already.. haha.. cruel intentions presentation was amusing.. we sat right in front and smoked our way through everything.. and BEN DIDNT GIVE US A BREAK !!! michael and me were like.. omg its 350 and no break in sight ! Jen got fed up and started eating halfway.. leonard was pissed that break was not given too.. he was smart enough to bring his laptop to entertain him.. why dun teachers realise that breaks in between lessons help students to learn better. I dunno why but i feel that I can concentrate better after that 10 mins of break. so mid term break is coming in a week.. just one more week of school to endure and then its freak out week ! woot ! and dim sum dollies FOH volunteering.. think its gonna be fun ! and I get to see the show ! double woot !

Is it me?

I am beginning to realise that ever since I've entered NUS, I've become a more blur person. I've been lost countless number of times since.. thank God for the navigator phone.. but then again its useless when finding buildings such as sheares hall. I do stupid things such as promising to bring fishballs to a party and end up bringing crab balls and prawn balls, leaving the fish balls behind at home. Other stupid things include seeing bus numbers wrongly & taking 86 instead of 39 ending up in sengkang instead of Pasir Ris. The list goes on... going to the wrong classroom not once but 3 times this sem. Not knowing where LT 14 in NUS is.. when i'm already in my 4th sem. Using malaysian coins in singaporean vending machines and getting pissed that i'm not getting my drink. Not knowing how to use the print function in adobe to print double sided readings. Reading 'Give us a' as 'Give USA'. haiz.. the list goes on.. but then again, thats what makes me ME.. and its awesome.. ha..

ok so CNY was fun.. had a blast with the AJC friends as well as the theatre kakis.. blackjack played in CNY style is fun ! and asshole tai-ti.. ha.. steph's favourite game.. had so much fun.. the laughter, the joy, not to mention the large amount of food and the different kinds of mushroom (chinese ppl really eat alot of mushrooms) that was the first day I saw mushrooms like that.. its like discovering a new species of mushroom altogether. The indian jokes, the 1 minute silence for Ah-meng in which raymond couldn't keep quiet and munched on fried wanton (which Michael attempted to put in the steamboat) ha.. too bad durians were out of stock at the fruit stall at pasir ris. cant wait for next yr !

Wonderall..

Watched a few movies recently..

A typical chick flick.. Ishu made me watch it.. did no good for both of us cos it was rather depressing till the end.. its really painful to see the protagonist get her heart broken and every part of the movie from then on seemed to be stabbing at her heart even more and more.. Ishu and I were like.. the movie sucks ! its painful to watch.. but the ending was ok lah.. like DUH! and it had clever funny moments.. liked the whole slide show thingy..

Ok this movie is a bit disturbing.. I guess you can say that is alright.. a typical tim burton movie, but not his best though. Helena Boneham carter was really good and the songs were quite cool.. its the throat slashing which made me awkward.. my hands were over my eyes like alot.. I liked the Mr Pirelli's miricle elixer segment.
So got admitted to the hospital on sunday for abdominal pains. suspected appendicitis but turned out to be something else.. anyways, it was a rather awful experience.. firstly, my name was butchered like 27 times.. I counted.. yes its really really really really annoying !!!!! just because of the prasanam there i'm immediately called Naaathan.. Nathanael is a hebrew name for heaven's sake.. its not indian ! so its not Naaaaaathan or nantha.. wth !!!! .. I am so naming my child MARK. It takes a really great fool to mispronounce and butcher that name. Mark Abraham. secondly, I didn't sleep much because of the pain and the hospital was freaking cold.. even with blankets on I was freezing. Thirdly, I had to wear such unglam hospital gowns which din fit me at all.. the top was too big and loose and crumpled while the pants were too short until stef thought i was wearing berms. fourthly, I had old women and men (who worked in the hospital as porters) pushing me on a wheelchair. Talk about ur reversal of roles. haiz.. however, I do appreciate the visits i got from friends and family, esp nadia, ting and stef. loved the teddy bear (whom i named maximillion, affectionately called maxie), balloon and flowers.
So aside from the hospital, met up with sang viki and ishu during cny to play games.. was fun hanging out.. gonna miss sang.. guess have to wait till June for the 7 of us to be together again..

oh stole this from Dawn's blog.. thought it was really cute and funny.. well I was imagining Dawn saying it, so it was funny to me..

Moral of the story: Remember to love 365 days a year. Or in this case, 366 days a year. 2008’s a leap year! *hops*.
