Natty !

So.. Had a long conversation with Sang yesterday.. so sweet of her to call all the way from Australia.. It was fun bitching about everything under the sun... haha.. laughed so loudly man.. Sang I love you..

Watched two movies recently.. both not bad.

This was funny.. I am beginning to like Steve Carell.. after watching Evan Almighty and now this, Hes not as annoying as I thought him to be.. so its cool.. ha.. pretty funny movie.. with good action scenes and stuff.. I prefer Pink panther though.. that movie's a lot more funnier..

21 is a rather cool movie.. well cos it features las vegas! totally loved the glitz and glamour moments.. anyway the movie is about this math whiz who is recruited into a card counting scheme by his prof. then the whole group goes to vegas during the weekend, scam the casinos by counting cards at blackjack and walk away with alot of money.. then they have fun as well.. shopping.. dining ... partying etc.. awesomes.. pretty interesting movie.

The Canada plans are going well.. so I'd be leaving ard august 19th.. after the SDEA theatre fest on the 17th.. and probably come back in time for Christmas..

Superpoke/ Super green post 1

ok so.. i took superpoke off my facebook profile, only to get like 13847293874293874 superpoke requests !! is it that fun for people to throw cows at each other?? hehe.. so ya i put superpoke back again.. come on.. throw cows, cookies, obama and watever you can find to me.. Annaliza and paulyn are the biggest superpokers out there.. man.. poke me like 25 times a day.. WTH !!

anyways, just got back from a nice meal at Astons with Ting, Dawn, Dan & Stef.. naidu had to leave early cos shes seeing some ballet show tonight i think.. SO as I was saying.. astons, cheap good western food.. better than Jack's place .. i Love bake potato.. with melted butter .. yum.. unhealthy.. but yummy.. and here I was yesterday, proclaiming to Dawn over MSN that I will be staying away from all deep fried stuff .. and today I eat steak with butter and oil and all that sort of stuff.. haaaaaaaa.....

North South East and West !

So me and the best friend went on a whole day trip around Singapore, literally covering the north, south east and western parts of Singapore.. What was actually supposed to be an outing to the zoo with the rest of the group, was changed to just the 2 of us travelling ard s'pore.. cos Sang's in Australia, Sentill has thousands of SMU camps to attend.. Viki is living in the faculty of engineering doing his kaadi.. Shan's busy preparing to start her lifelong career of being a housewife.. and Iswaree is busy with errands and planing her parigaaram ooru trips.. hence in the end the coolest ppl of the group decided to ditch the rest and continue.. ha...+

So the day started off with a hearty breakfast at Causewaypoint (North).. was supposed to meet Ishu at 8.. but overslept.. she tried calling me phone 5 times before she called the house.. haha.. and mom had to wake me up.. sorry babe phone was on silent mode.. anyways.. as seen from the pic we grew fatter by eating hotcakes & drinking coffee (thank God for Coffee) from Macs.. after that we headed down to NUS (West) as I had to submit something to the Dean's office, and we really missed our school (ya right !) ...

So ya .. we love big mirrors.. haha.. and as usual no day can go pass without nat being blur sotong, I got the facts wrong and ended up going to the wrong place and looking like a total fool in front of an extremely rude lady.. had to go to the library and then the university hall to settle what i needed to do and we finally left NUS after like an hour and a half head down to our fav hangout - Vivocity (South).


So Ishu and me did wat we do best.. shopping.. well window shopping, due to the lack of finances.. and tried out a couple of things here and there and casually telling the sales staff that we'll come again another day (ya right !) .. totally love the bracelets at River Island.. so after walking around abit, we watched a movie..

This is the Ghost Rider of 2008.. DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE ! Its utterly STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID !! I dun understand why ppl were laughing at things which were so dumb and gross.. like?? the whole thing was super immature and totally dumb, brainless and overly exaggerated.. hated the movie.. pales in comparison to other Adam sandler movies like Click, anger management and the longest yard.. total waste of time. So after the dreadful movie, both of us were like.. bleah ! and felt we needed to watch another movie to wipe the memory of Zohan.. So we went to dhoby gaut as Cathay tix are cheaper... but we got hungry and decided to eat instead of padam..

So we went Thai Express (Again ! we should get the Thai Express card thingy) @ Plaza Singapura.. talked alot of nonsense and bitched about everyone we knew.. no lah.. we didnt.. we are nice people ok.. after stuffing ourselves with food and feeling alot happier (we looked at shoes and teddy bears at PS as well), we headed to East Coast Park (East) Thank you Rauhdah for telling us how to get there.. without you I know we would have been lost.. probably end up in airport or Geylang or something..

So we goofed off, walked around.. took many pictures.. most of them blur.. sigh..

but some turned out nice..

And to our amazement, we saw surfer dudes.. in Singapore..where the waves are 2 mm high.. kinda funny watching them fall after 2 seconds of wave time. haha. After sitting on a rock for about an hour and pouring out more life stories to each other .. our legs got crammed and we decided to count the number of cute people on the beach as we walked along the shore.. As it got darker, we decided to that we would leave the beach once we found 10 cute people... sadly we only got to 8.. only 8 cute people on east coast !! should have gone Sentosa.. haha... so we just ditched the whole plan and left anyway..

so after a fast and cold bus ride on 966, where we talked all about incredible tales and ghosts (yes we are 13 yr olds at heart) .. our day finally ended at Marsiling (North).. where we said goodbye to each other and went back home. A day well spent.. had fun..

AWESOMENESS !

Ok just got an email from NUS... free entry to the 4 museums in Singapore (national, peranakan, arts & asian civilisations) .. So Am heading down this thursday with the BFF to check them out.. wooh ! on other matters.. life has been passing on fine.. enjoying each moment as it comes and goes.. reading alot about Guelph and Toronto and places to visit around there and all.. excited... and have to book flights soon.. prob by next week.. was thinking of leaving end Aug.. after the whole SDEA festival thingy.. thank God my accomodation, modules and almost all the other misc stuff are settled.. all I have to do now is plan the flight.. and book a shuttle from the airport to Guelph.. and the shopping in prep for the trip...

MOVIES !!!!!

So watched a couple of movies over the past 2 weeks.. the padam watching nat is back !

Caught this with the bro, sis & bro-in-law.. must say that I liked this one.. the effects were really good.. the acting of the kids.. well not so much... only Edmund was really good.. Hated Caspian's weird telmarine accent.. certain laugh out moments, especially the scenes involving the mouse.. Battle sequences were AWESOME !! and really clever ! overall a rather good movie and a good way to spend two and a half hours on..

Caught this with the best friend last sat.. another long movie.. almost 2 and a half hours.. but it didnt feel long or draggy at all.. the outfits worn were awesome.. like totally.. Ishu kept squeezing my hand in excitement every time a new dress,bag, shoe was seen.. so ya.. the hand ended up really sore towards the end of the movie.. and she was really really really jealous of them.. hehe.. story wise, a bid sappy and emotional but then again a little emotion never hurt anyone.. the fav character of the movie, Miranda - cynthia nixon.. she was amazing..

Caught indy on tues with Dawn and Jesher.. wat intially started out as cool and interesting and all ended with a BLAH ! hated the ending immensly.. 3 of us were like.. huh??? did they just merge starwars, ET the teachings of scientology & indiana jones together? yes they did. Utter disappointment.. I came out of speed racer feeling better than I came out of this..However, there were certain good things too.. Cate Blancett made a good villain.. it was good to see Marian again after raiders of the lost ark.. but Its still lacking something the other indiana jones movies had.. The last crusade is still my fav indy movie.

Caught this with Reynard yesterday ... OMG ! the movie is HILARIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the whole cinema (which was packed with adults mostly) was laughing like crazy ! Its not only funny.. but the kung fu sequences in the movie are really cool.. all the kicking and the flying and the speed and the agility.. esp the viper.. WOOH !!! really cool.. then again, I'm a kid at heart so ya.. i tend to enjoy kiddy kiddy movies alot..

BOWLING !!

yeah ! So the Youth Aflame had its third bowling tournament (amateur) today. Called Ishu, Viki & Sentill to come play.. but Ishu got sick.. just a reminder to all to stay away from pork dumplings.. so She was replaced by Daniel.. and our group got a 5th member - Yoges.. so it was me, Sentill, Viki, Daniel and Yoges.. with a special guest apperance from Iswaree and her nephew hari. omg hes adorable.. so cute !! and really intelligent for a 6 yr old.. anyway, the whole bowling thing was fun.. laughing at the misses, cheering ppl on, and booing those who were doing unimpossibly well.. the winning team won with a margin of 600 points between them and the 2nd team.. like !!! it was a 20 point margin from the team which came in 2nd and us... yes WE GOT THIRD !! WOOH !!! surprising considering i kinda screwed up the 2nd game...hahaa..nevertheless, it was fun.. looking forward to next year's bowling !

So like Tabitha, I'm gonna rant about how it feels so good to finally get an A... it almost never happens to me.. and this time its double the happiness cos its not just 1, but 2 As !!! Thank you GOD ! I couldnt have done it without you.. finally an A after 7 yrs.. yes the last time i ever got an A was like O'levels i think.. Was really nervous the whole day prior to checking the results. Called Ishu 15 mins before 6 to whine like i normally do, and she was on the phone for moral support as i checked me results... I think i went crazy when i saw my results.. was soo happy.. first thing I saw was B- for cold war and I was like YAY !! I DIN FAIL!!! wooh !!!! i know B- is not really that good, but think about it.. i was the person who said Brezhnev was a liberal during tutorial.. I'm probably the dumbest person in cold war class.. and I din fail or get a C Yays !! and B+ for acting for screen after the horrific written exam where i came up with my own theories and used fake examples.. really amazing.. Thank you so much GOD.. for the strength you gave me throughout the sem.. for being there during the ups and downs.. and thank you my wonderful study buddies ... Justin Rau Adilah Jah .. As RAU put it, mugging in the library surrounded by books, laptops and many many cups/cans of coffee, dancing to deewanagi and timbaland and walking to macdonalds singing retro malay songs and new malay songs (Aku Melayu) .. it was all worth it..
